What can I say, I don't like deserts. They're too dry, and I have sensitive skin (though I never knew this before moving out there...)
Now, I'm back around hills and trees, and lots of rain. No more 110 F Summers and -5 Winters that are always super-crazy dry to the point where my hands get cuts due to cracking, thank you very much.
Now my only issue is with Financial Aid. Oy vey...
Oh, and getting a new computer so I can actually do some of my typical artsy stuff... all the time, at least. In the meantime, the library computers have the Adobe Suite and Freehand MX, so I can do some Photoshop and Illustrator things and maybe play around w/ Freehand a little.
... and my browser won't let me do a mood (w/o refreshing at least), so I hereby condemn IE7 to eternal crap-nation!
Firefox > all
Linux > all
Hell, Freeware > all
Anyway, minor edit from after looking at my stuff after a 1-year layoff of graphic art:
It's astonishing to me that I was actually able to do some of the things I did back then. I doubt I could do as well, now. A year's worth of rust is likely to not be a benefactor is my abilities. Bah!
